My name is Francis Tumwebaze a tourist guide/Driver, aged 33 years, born and raised in Buhoma Bwindi the home of the endangered mountain gorillas where my dream to become a guide started from since childhood.
I was inspired by other guides from my village who are now the most experienced in the industry.
It was my strong feeling or desire to share my expertise about local culture, history and attractions with tourists, and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures as well as exploring different locations and experience the beauty of my country and other countries all over the world.
Being a tourist guide/driver can be a fantastic career allowing me to share my knowledge and passion for a place with visitors. Its great that I had childhood dream to pursue this career path.
